Triangulation in Qualitative Research

One of the critical questions that often arise from researchers and students conducting research is the problem of triangulation. Many still do not understand the meaning and purpose of poles in research, especially qualitative research. Due to this lack of understanding, problems often arise between students and lecturers in the mentoring process and between lecturers when testing theses, theses, and dissertations. This will not happen if each has a sufficient understanding of triangulation. Generally, questions revolve around whether triangulation is necessary for research and, if necessary, how to do it. The following is a brief description from various sources and the author's previous experience. Triangulation is essentially a multi-method approach that researchers use when collecting and analyzing data.

SIX POINTS OF TABLIGH
ALLAH SWT puts the success and happiness of human being in this world and hereafter only in Perfect Deen. The perfect religion of Islam is the religion brought by Rasululloh SAW. At this time the Muslims have no power and the ability to practice religion perfectly. The Companions or the Sahabah Radliyallahu Anhum had been successfully practicing religion perfectly because they have six noble qualities which covers:
1. The Yaqin towards The kalimah thoyyibah “LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH MUHAMMADURRASULULLAH”
2. Sholat khusyu’ wal khudlu’
3. Ilmu ma’adzikir
4. Ikromul Muslimin
5. Tashihun niat
6. Da’wah and tabligh KHURUJ FI SABILILLAH.
THE FIRST SHIFFAT: THE YAQIN TOWARDS KALIMAH LA ILAHA ILLALLAH.
It means there is none worth of worship except Allah
Its maqsod:
We remove or take out the greatness of makhluq/ ghoirullah from our heart and put the strong yaqin towards Allah SWT in our heart.
The fadaeles:
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
-Whenever a slave of Allah said La ilaha illallah and died believing in it, he surely entered jannah.
-he who bears witness to La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship except Allah, with his heart verifying his tongue shall enter paradise from any fo its doors he wishes.
-in hadits Qudsi Allah ta’ala says: Indeed I am Allah, there is none worthy worship except Me, he who acknowledges my Oneness enters my fortress, and he who enters my fortress is safe from my punishment.
Muhammadur rasulullah:
It means : hadrat Muhammad PBUH is the messenger of Allah
Its maqsod: there is no other way to achieve true happiness and success except following the sunnah of rasulullah SAW
The fadaeles:
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
-anyone who bears witness that there si none worthy of worship except Allah and that I am his messenger can never neter hell or be burnt by its fire.
-he who holds fast to my sunnah during the time of corruption in my ummah, for him is the reward of martyr.
-he who revives my sunnah has indeed loved me, and he who loves me will be with me in paradise.
THE SECOND SHIFFAT: SHOLAT KHUSYU WAL KHUDZU.
It means perfoming sholat with full concentration and the feeling of humbleness before Allah.
Its maqsod:
Carrying out or bring the shiffat of obedience inside sholat into our daily life.
The fadaeles:
The quranic verse:
Verily shalat restrains (oneself) from immorality (fahsya’) and all that forbidden (munkar) (QS 29:45).
And seek Allah’s help by having the shifat of shabar (patience perseverance) and shalat (prayer).
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
The comfort and delight of my eyes had been placed in shalat.
THE THIRD QUALITY: ILM WITH DZIKIR:
Ilm means the knowledge from Allah given to rasulullah SAW.
Dzikir means remembering Allah SWT
Its maqsod:
To obey or practice all of the commandments of Allah in anytime and conditions by remembering Allah in any circumstances by following the sunnah of rasulullah PBUH.
The fadaele of ilm;
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
The one who Allah intends goodness, he guides him towards the understanding of deen. Indeed I am only a distributor and Allah is the one who grants.
-Abu dzar r.a narrates that rasulullah SAW told me: O Abu Dzar ! if you go in the morning and learn a verse from the book of Allah (kitabullah), it is better for you than performing one hundred rokaat shalat , and if you go in the morning and learn a chapter of knowledge which may or may not be applicable at that time, it is better for you than performing a thousand rokaat of nafilah sholat.
-whoever walk or take a walk for seeking Islamic knowledge (ilm), therefore Allah SWT will make easy his way to paradise.
The fadaele of dzikir:
Quranic verse:
-without doubt in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find satisfaction (arro’ad 28)
-Then do ye remember Me; I will remember you (albaqarah 152).
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
The example of one who remembering his rabb and the one who doesn’t remember his rabb is like the example of the living and the dead.
THE FOURTH SHIFFAT: IKRAMUL MUSLIMIN
It means making ikram to muslim brother
Its maqsod:
Fulfilling the rights of muslim brother without hoping for the return. It is done only for the sake of Allah SWT.
The fadaeles
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
If anyone removes one of the hardships or difficulties of a muslim brother in this world, Allah will remove one of his hardships or difficulties in hereafter, if anyone conceals a fault of muslim brother, Allah will conceal his fault in hereafter, Allah keeps helping a man as long as/as far as he keeps helping his muslim brothers.
THE FIFTH SHIFFAT: TASKHIHU NNIYAT:
It means rectifying our intention
It s maqsod:
Rectifying our intentions in every deed or amal only for pleasing Allah or for the sake of Allah SWT.
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
-indeed Allah does not look at your faces and possessions but he looks at your hearts and your deeds.
-verily Allah does not accept any deed except that done sincerely for Him and to obtain his pleasure.
-undobtedly Allah helps this ukmmah ( not because of their abilities an talents but) because of its weakness, by their do’a,shalat and sincerity.
THE 6TH SHIFFAT: DAKWAH WA TABLIGH
Dakwah It means invite tabligh means to convey
Its maksod:
To rectify our iman and amal by sacrificing ourselves, time and wealth by inviting people towards Allah SWT.
The fadaeles:
Quranic verse:
And who is better in speech than him who invites (mankind) towards Allah, and does what is right and says, “indeed, I’m a moslem”( those who have surrendered to Allah) fushilat 33).
Hadrat Muhammad SAW said:
-whoever guides others to do good, his reward is like the one who does it.
-a day spent in the path of Allah is better than a thousand of other days not in the path of Allah.
-a morning and an evening spent in the path of Allah, is better than the word and all that it contains.
ENAM SIFAT SAHABAT
Allah SWT meletakkan kesuksesan dan kebahagiaan hidup manusia di dunia dan akhirat hanyalah pada agama Islam yang sempurna. Agama Islam yang sempurna adalah agama yang dibawa oleh Rasululloh SAW. Pada saat ini umat Islam tidak ada kekuatan dan kemampuan untuk mengamalkan agama secara sempurna. Para sahabat RA telah sukses dan jaya dalam mengamalkan agama secara sempurna karena mereka memiliki sifat-sifat dasar yang terkandung dalam enam sifat sahabat yang meliputi,
1. Yakin Atas Kalimah Thoyyibah “LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH MUHAMMADURRASULULLAH”
2. Sholat Khusyu’ Dan Khudlu’
3. Ilmu Ma’adzikir
4. Ikromul Muslimin
5. Tashihun Niat
6. Da’wah Dan Tabligh Khuruj Fi Sabilillah.
Enam sifat sahabat RA tersebut bukan merupakan wujud agama yang sempurna, karena agama yang sempurna terkandung dalam al qur’an dan al hadits, tetapi apabila enam sifat para sahabat tersebut ada dalam diri kita maka Allah SWT akan memberikan kemudahan kepada kita untuk mengamalkan agama secara sempurna.
1. Yakin atas kalimah thoyyibah “LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH MUHAMMADURRASULULLAH“.
Arti : Tidak ada yang berhak disembah selain Allah Swt. Dan Baginda Muhammad Saw. Adalah utusan Allah.
Maksud LAA ILAHA ILLALLAH
Mengeluarkan keyakinan pada mahluk dari dalam hati dan memasukkan keyakinan hanya kepada Allah Swt. Di dalam hati.
Fadhilah :
1. Barang siapa yang mati sedangkan dia yakin tidak ada yang berhak disembah selain Allah Swt., maka dijamin masuk surga.
2. Barang siapa yang bersaksi bahwa tidak ada yang berhak disembah selain Allah dan hatinya membenarkan lisannya, maka dipersilahkan masuk surga dari pintu mana yang dia suka.
3. Sekecil-kecil iman dalam hati maka akan Allah berikan surga yang luasnya 10 kali dunia.
Maksud MUHAMMADARRASULULLAH
Meyakini hanya satu-satunya jalan untuk mencapai kejayaan dunia dan akherat hanya dengan cara ikut sunnah Rasulullah Saw.
Fadhilah :
1. Rasulullah Saw. bersabda, Tidak akan masuk neraka seseorang yang bersaksi bahwa tidak ada yang berhak disembah selain Allah dan Aku (Muhammad) sebagai utusan Allah.
2. Rasulullah Saw. bersabda barang siapa yang berpegang teguh dengan sunnahku dikala rusaknya ummatku maka baginya pahala 100 orang mati syahid.
3. Rasulullah Saw. Bersabda barang siapa menghidupkan sunnahku sungguh dia cinta padaku, dan barangsiapa yang cinta padaku maka akan bersamaku didalam surga.
2. SHOLAT KHUSYU’ DAN KHUDLU’
Arti : Shalat dengan konsentrasi batin dan merendahkan diri dengan mengikut cara yang dicontohkan oleh Rasulullah Saw.
Maksud Shalat Khusu dan Khudu
Membawa sifat-sifat ketaatan kepada Allah Swt didalam shalat kedalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
Fadhilah :
1. Allah berfirman : Sesungguhnya shalat dapat mencegah dari perbuatan keji dan mungkar.
2. Allah berfirman : Carilah pertolongan Allah dengan sabar dan shalat.
3. Rasulullah Saw. Bersabda : shalat adalah milahnya orang beriman.
3. ILMU MA’ADZIKIR
Arti Ilmu : Semua petunjuk yang dating dari Allah Swt melalui Baginda Rasulullah Saw.
Arti Dzikir: Mengingat Allah sebagaimana agungnya Allah.
Maksud Ilmu ma’adzikir
Mengamalkan perintah Allah Swt. Pada setiap saat dan keadaan dengan menghadirkan keagungan Allah didalam hati dan ikut cara Rasulullah Saw.
Fadhilah Ilmu:
1. Apabila Allah menghendaki kebaikan pada seorang hamba, maka akan Allah fahamkan dirinya pada masalah agama.
2. Barangsiapa berjalan mencari ilmu maka akan Allah mudahkan untuknya jalan menuju surga.
3. Barangsiapa mempelajari satu ayat Al Quran maka nilainya adalah lebih baik daripada shalat sunnah 100 rakaat. Barangsiapa mempelajari satu bab dari ilmu maka lebih baik nilainya daripada shalat sunnah 1000 rakaat.
Fadhilah Dzikir:
1. Perumpamaan orang yang berdzikir dengan orang yang tidak berdzikir adalah seperti orang yang hidup dibandingkan dengan orang yang mati.
2. Allah berfirman : Dengan mengingat Allah maka hati akan menjadi tenang.
3. Allah berfirman : Ingatlah pada Ku niscaya Aku akan ingat kepadamu.
4. IKROMUL MUSLIMIN
Arti : Memuliakan sesame orang islam / muslim.
Maksud ikramul muslimin
Menunaikan hak-hak semua orang islam tanpa meminta hak daripadanya.
Fadhilah :
1. Allah akan menolong seorang hamba selagi dia menolong saudaranya.
2. Barang siapa menutup aib saudaranya yang muslim maka Allah akan menutup aibnya dan barang siapa membuka aib saudaranya yang muslim maka Allah akan membuka aibnya sampai dia akan dipermalukan di rumahnya sendiri.
3. Senyummu didepan saudaramu adalah sedekah.
5. TASHIHUN NIAT
Arti : Membetulkan / meluruskan niat
Maksud tashihun niat
Membersihkan niat pada setiap amalan semata-mata karena Allah Swt.
Fadhilah :
1. Sesungguhnya Allahtidak akan menerima amalan seseorang kecuali dengan ikhlas.
2. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memandang pada rupamu dan hartamu tetapi Dia akan memandang pada hatimu dan amalanmu.
3. Baginda Rasulullah Saw. Bersabda : Wahai Muadz jagalah keihklasan karena amal yang ikhlas walau sedikit akan mencukupi.
6. DA’WAH DAN TABLIGH KHURUJ FI SABILILLAH
Arti : Dakwah mengajak, Tabligh menyampaikan dan khuruj fisabilillah adalah keluar di jalan Allah.
Maksud
1. Memperbaiki diri, yaitu bagaimana agar dapat menggunakan harta diri dan waktu sebagaimana yang diperintahkan Allah.
2. Menghidupkan agama secara sempurna pada diri sendiri dan semua manusia diseluruh alam dengan menggunakan harta dan diri sendiri.
Fadhilah :
1. Allah berfirman : dan adakah yang perkataannya lebih baik daripada seseorang yang mengajak manusia kepada Allah.
2. Barangsiapa yang mengajak kepada petunjuk kebaikan dia akan mendapatkan pahala seperti orang yang mengamalkan.
3. Sepagi sepetang dijalan Allah lebih baik daripada mendapatkan dunia dan seisinya.
