Definition of Classroom management

Classroom management, according to Rosnani (2019), is the provision of facilities for a variety of student learning activities in a social environment that is both emotional and intellectual in the classroom so that each student can work systematically to achieve the objective of teaching effectiveness and efficiency quickly.

Doyle (1989) defined classroom management as the teacher's endeavor to foster a fun, positive, and nurturing environment in the classroom. The teaching and learning process will become more disciplined and courteous due to the teacher's effective classroom management (Ulfa et al.,2019).

Abstract: Alongside health workers, media crew also bears the heavy burden of conveying information during the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. In conveying information, media constructs framing by encouraging certain parts so that the highlighted information has influence on conclusions drawing and personal judgments of readers. We argue that Covid-19 news text carries political messages which illustrates media's hidden agenda. Accordingly, this study examines framing in COVID-19 news text to understand the use of evaluation language in building the images of Anies Baswedan and Ganjar Pranowo as presidential candidates for 2024. Descriptive-qualitative research in kompas.com was carried out through content analysis using SFL approach and attitude framework. The findings reveal that journalists use every aspect of attitude to build positive impression in the news text. However, behind this positive impression a political framing was formed. Anies is potrayed as ambitious formed through +valuation, +impact, -propriety, while Ganjar is depicted as persistent and sincere utilizing +tenacity, +inclination, and +security. Finally, pandemic news report on kompas.com contains bias that is detrimental to Anies but favorable to Ganjar. This bias has the potential to turn into new social values that can affect the political situation in 2024.

Activity Report of the Workshop on Research Information Systems and Service Towards SINTA Ranking for Higher Education Clusterization was held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the Unwahas Campus, Jalan Menoreh Tengah X/22 Sampangan, Semarang offline and online. To support research and community service in PTs throughout Central Java, a "Research Information Systems Workshop and Service Towards SINTA Ranking for Clustering PTs" was held Tuesday (24/1) offline and online.

Followed by more than 50 lecturers from universities in Central Java, the event held by Wachid Hasyim University, Semarang, presented two speakers, Prof.Dr. Kristoko Dwi Hartomo, S. Kom., M. Kom from Satyawacana University and Dr.Ir. Helmy Purwanto, ST, MT (WR IV Unwahas Semarang. On this occasion, Prof. Kristoko conveyed his experience and progress in managing RISAT at SWCU. RISAT is a Satya Wacana Research System that addresses online research submissions and community service. This system is expected to provide convenience for research or service lecturers submitting research proposals and community service using SWCU internal funds. Likewise, in terms of management stages, it is hoped that it will be more orderly because all transactions can be recorded in the database.

According to Prof. Dr. Kristoko, the RISAT system is expected to increase lecturer participation in internal research and PkM schemes, improve the quality and quantity of internal research/PkM and increase the number of research/PkM that pass the DRPM competition. Prof. Dr. Kristoko supports the creation and implementation of this system so that it can be applied at Unwahas and to all attendees representing each campus's LP2M to realize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Research and Service Information System Towards SINTA Rating for Clustering Higher Education.  Prof. Dr. Kristoko said, "The goodness or advantage of a system like RISAT at SWCU is the creation of a digitization system and big data so that we can let go of or leave paper and switch to a digital strategy so that everything is easier. During the Research and Service Information Systems Workshop Towards Sinta Ranking for Higher Education Clusterization.

Dr. Kristoko opened a question-and-answer session. A lecturer representative from UMS Solo asked about RISAT and how to integrate the lecturer's research and service database with the lecturer's SINTA account. According to Prof. Kristoko, integrating is by asking the SINTA Central admin for the API code. This material benefits Mr. Faizal Risdianto as the Head of the Publishing Center, SINTA Verifier at the Higher Education level, and the UIN Salatiga Journal House chairman. The proposed results of this activity have been submitted to Mr. Bimo Haryo Setyoko, M. Kom. as the TIPD UIN Salatiga.
